SerialScope is an independent short-drama review site. You can read every review, ranking, and guide here without creating an account, logging in, or handing us a single personal detail.
What we collect
Analytics. We use aggregate analytics to see which pages readers actually use — page views, approximate region, referring site, device type. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. We do not build advertising profiles from it and we do not sell it to anyone.
Nothing else, by default. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to read this site. There is no login, no user account, and no comment system.
Cookies and similar technology
Analytics and, where enabled, advertising partners may set cookies in your browser. These are used to measure traffic and to serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information, without you needing to do anything else.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Third-party ad partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads. Advertisers have no involvement in what we review, how we score, or how we rank — editorial and advertising are entirely separate.
Affiliate and referral links
Some links to streaming platforms may be affiliate or cost-per-signup links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. A commission never affects a score, a ranking, or whether a show is recommended. Any page that carries such links discloses it on the page itself.
We do not currently operate a newsletter or mailing list, and we do not collect email addresses on this site. If we launch one, this policy will be updated first and the list will be strictly opt-in with an unsubscribe link in every message. Until then, the only way we hold your email address is if you write to us directly — and we use it only to answer you.
Your rights (California / CCPA & CPRA)
California residents may request to know what personal information we hold, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we do not collect personal identifiers to serve this site, in most cases there is nothing held to disclose or delete. You can still exercise these rights by emailing us, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Children
SerialScope is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially — particularly anything involving data collection or email — we update the date at the top of this page and describe what changed.
